The amount of blood that our heart pumps every day is truly amazing. Mike and Tony seek to delve more into our bodies as proof that we have been fearfully and wonderfully made. At this point, they move onto the fluid that keeps us alive. Blood is truly an amazing thing. “For the life of the flesh is in the blood, and I have given it for you on the altar to make atonement for your souls, for it is the blood that makes atonement by the life.” (see Leviticus 17:11). It is the blood of Christ that keeps us from judgment. Let us revel in this amazing truth.
